Raw Chocolate Energy Bars ( vegan, gluten free, sugar free )

Energy bars with raw chocolate are quite expensive in health stores so I decided to help you save your money by sharing this scrumptious recipe.

Start making your own sugar free bars that are full of natural flavors and good long-lasting energy.

In addition these sweet handmade bars are perfect edible gifts for X-mas. Delight your friends with a beautifully wrapped gift full of healthiness!

Are you a chocolate lover? Do you have a thing for nuts or medjool dates that taste like toffee?

What about raw cheesecake?

Let’s not forget about silky smooth tahini with a nutty taste, how do you like it?

Do you love the delicate sweetness of raw coconut flakes?

 

My new recipe has it all. Sounds too good to be true?

I packed literally everything into these gluten free bars.

Try the recipe and you won’t be disappointed!

INGREDIENTS

 

Crust

 

80 g  crushed almonds ( (1/2 cup )

80 g crushed walnuts ( 1/2 cup )

30 g raw coconut flakes (1/2 cup )

4 medjool dates

2 tbsp coconut oil ( measured firm )

 

Mix everything together and press on the bottom of your moulds.

 

 

Filling

 

140 g = 1 cup cashew nuts ( soak 4- 12 hours, drain well )

2 tbsp quality tahini

2 tbsp cashew nut butter

2 tbsp coconut oil (measured firm )

4 tbsp raw cacao butter

2 tbsp thick coconut cream

3 tbsp maple syrup

a few tbsp water if needed

 

Melt the coconut oil and cacao butter gently in water bath.

Blend all the other ingredients until really smooth.

Add the oil and butter and blend a bit more.

Put the filling on top of the crusts.

Place the moulds into fridge to set.

 

Topping

 

150 g raw cacao paste

100 g cacao butter

4 tbsp coconut oil

3 tbsp maple syrup

100 g raw cacao powder

1/2 tsp lechitin

 

Place the cacao butter, cacao paste and coconut oil in water bath.

Let melt carefully.

Add the other ingredients .

Stir well.

Pour the melted chocolate on top of the filling.

Put in fridge to firm up.

 

 

You can keep the bars in your refrigerator there is no need to freeze them. They will last good in the fridge for at least a week . But I bet they won’t last that long though…

AINESOSAT

 

Pohja

 

80 g mantelirouhe

80 g saksanpähkinärouhe

30 g kookoshiutale

4 medjool taatelia

2 rkl kookosöljyä

 

Sekoita kaikki ainekset massaksi ja painele vuokien/ vuoan pohjalle.

 

Täyte

 

140 g cashew ( liota 3-12 tuntia, valuta hyvin )

2 rkl hyvää tahinia

2 rkl cashew pähkinävoita

2 rkl kookosöljyä ( kiinteänä mitattu )

4 rkl kaakaovoita

2 rkl paksua kookoskermaa

2 rkl vaahterasiirappia

pari rkl vettä tarvittaessa

 

Sulata kookosöljy ja kaakaovoi vesihauteessa.

Blendaa muut ainekset sileäksi.

Lisää öljy ja voi ja blendaa vielä hetki.

Laita täyte patukkapohjien päälle.

Nosta jääkaappiin tekeytymään.

 

 

 

Suklaakerros/ kuorrutus

 

150 g kaakaomassaa

100 g kaakaovoita

2 rkl kookosöljyä

3 rkl vaahterasiirappia

100 g raakakaakaojauhetta

1/2 tl lesitiiniä

 

Sulata kaakaomassa, kaakaovoi ja kookosöljy vesihauteessa.

Lisää mut ainekset ja sekoita sileäksi.

Kaada massa täyteen päälle.

Laita jääkaappiin kiinteytymään.

 

Voit säilyttää patukoita jääkaapissa ainakin viikon verran.

Halutessasi voit tietenkin  myös pakastaa jos tarve vaatii.
